12 Actors / 5 Weeks

Five Weeks That Will Change Your Life

This 5 week intensive immerses the actor in the real work and business of acting. One of the hallmarks of Penny Templeton’s technique is to bring the training out of the isolated world of the classroom and prepare the actor for the challenges that today’s working actor has to face. Actors are crossing between the mediums from the Theatre, to Film and Television, where there may be little or no rehearsal at all. Just as the great teachers of the past continued to evolve in their teaching Ms. Templeton has evolved with the thought in mind, “ How can actors be artists in today’s fast paced world without sacrificing their craft?” She has created new and innovative techniques while incorporating the teachings of our past.

Over these five weeks you will be taught how to structure your work and take charge of your scenes with strong and bold choices that are grounded and emotionally connected.  Ms. Templeton’s enlightened approach to the craft has been used by successful actors, on Broadway, Television and Film, for nearly 20 years.

There are approximately 27 hours of classes each week.

We are bringing in some of the best guest master teachers in their fields to make this truly valuable experience.

This is the opportunity to take the various courses an actor needs, all at one time and in one place, so that you can see how they all connect and work together to create the complete actor.
